CHROMIUM STAR contains the basic trace element chromium which helps preserve normal sugar blood level, improve glucose utilization in the body and decrease the total cholesterol level. Chromium supports mobilization of subcutaneous fat and its preferential use as a source of energy. It also supports the growth of muscle tissue, increases the effect of anti diabetic medications on the blood sugar level for diabetes (e.g. insulin), accelerates protein synthesis and supports metabolism in the body.

Chromium belongs to one of the indespensable trace elements, which is difficult to absorb and to release from food. Its main function consists in the intensification of the effect of insulin; it supports glucose absorption in the cells. It is an important part of the glucose tolerance factor for checking sugar blood level. If there is a sufficient amount of chromium in the body, insulin can work properly and preserve normal sugar blood level. Besides, chromium takes part in protein and fat metabolism.

Recommended dosage
1 tablet a day.

Ingredients
Contents of 1 tablet: Stabilizer: calcium phosphate, crosslinked sodium carboxymethylcellulose; emulsifier: microcrystalline cellulose; defoaming agent: vegetable stearic acid; anticaking agent: silicon dioxide, vegetable magnesium stearate; chromium (chromium trichloride) 200 μg (500 % of nutrient reference values).
Remark for products containing extracs: In the interest of easier orientation in the quantities of the active ingredients in extracts we indicate their actual (original) amount.

Precautions
It is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. The product is not a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosing. Store in a cool dry place out of reach of children. Warning for diabetics and persons suffering from hypoglycemia: due to contents of chromium which may increase sensitivity to insulin and affect the level of glucose in blood, it should only be used after consulting with your physician. Use best before date indicated by EXP data on the top side of the container.
